Set within the rural landscape of Canterbury, Lincoln Farmhouse reinterprets the region’s traditional architectural vernacular through a contemporary lens. The home’s red brick exterior and simple gabled forms reference the enduring rural sheds and homesteads of the area, grounding it firmly in its context.

Three distinct gable volumes are connected by glazed linkways, creating a series of wings that separate living and bedroom zones while maintaining a strong visual and spatial connection to the surrounding farmland. The transparency of the linkways brings light deep into the plan and frames views across the landscape, balancing solidity with openness.
